Gold Ring - Upgrade the hidden item to Level 9.Clock Lancet - Upgrade the weapon to Level 8.Once you've collected the Clock Lancet, Gold Ring, and Silver Rings you'll need to upgrade them as follows: Selecting the Clock Lancet early on in your run will also give you plenty of time to upgrade the weapon to max level as we'll discuss below. If your goal is to evolve the weapon into Infinite Corridor, you should select the Clock Lancet at first sight since it can be a bit rare. Meanwhile, the Gold Ring only has negative effects that buff enemy health, speed, quantity, and spawn frequency.Ĭollecting the Silver Ring first will give you time to drastically Level Up your Duration and Area so you can better combat the enhancements the Gold Ring will grant your enemies.Īs you journey back and forth throughout the stage gathering the Rings, you'll collect XP-gems that will enable you to select new weapons. This is because the Silver Ring offers the benefit of increasing the Duration of your weapon effects while amplifying the area of effect of your attacks. When beginning your search for these three components, start by heading west towards the Silver Ring instead of traveling east towards the Gold Ring. Like all base weapons, the Clock Lancet can be collected from Level Up selections, but because the Gold and Silver Rings are exclusively floor loot, you'll need to follow the arrows on your screen to locate these passive items. Once you've unlocked the Yellow Sign, load into the stage of your choice and start hunting down the Clock Lancet, Gold Ring, and Silver Ring. It has New Game+ too and is - despite being short - really worth the 8€ or so.If you're looking for more detailed guides on anything mentioned in the section above, click on their corresponding link below: I kept the post relatively short but there's so much more that I love about the game. If you have more questions about gameplay/mechanics or anything else just ask. If you perform better you get more of those, and you can exchange dice from your stash for more Barter Points (like after a boss fight when you might want more of the good loot). Those are instantly used to "buy" loot from the little list you get after defeating your enemies. Those can be used to increase your damage or hit percentage of attacks and some abilities also use dice in other ways (the various meditation abilities which recover MPs use it).Īfter a fight you get Barter Points. You can also accumulate some dice in a "reserve" via the combo mechanic (and your characters also find dice in the game once or twice that get added to your stash so there's a bit of a fourth wall break there too). The dice mechanic is used occasionally, sometimes just to get a random number (for some ambushes), sometimes to see who in your party has to claw through the slime for something, but usually for combat. The game itself is a dungeon crawler JRPG, not really a D&D game or a text adventure (but there's a lot to read because there are no cinematic videos to tell the story, and not voice acting). But the game has - in my opinion - a really great atmosphere even if everything is rather simple. The most is a little wiggle to show who's doing an action and if HP reach zero the figurine is toppled over. There's also not much animation because of that. The graphics are a bit unusual but it's made up to look like a boardgame/diorama with little figurines.
